Maybe they're that good....if so...I will not race these people! You may say that's not right...I really don't care....but if one or two people in a 6 carSpeedcan have 5 perfect lights....These guys need to build a car and get filthy rich Bracket racing!

My computer is limited to .0014 being a perfect light for this computer and I hit those quite often, sometimes if I am feeling good and having a good day I could hit 10 in a row pretty easily, which would maybe be of concern to some people because if I was on the right computer it would be 10 or so .0000 lights in a row or quite often anyway. I know this was concerned about mostly new players and my take on that is, maybe there are guys who have actually raced at a real track or my even own a Practice tree like i do. So maybe its possible they are just good at cutting a light because they have the concept down already? Not sure Hey if anyone can tell me how to get a perfect light besides my .0014 would sure love to know. I have spent MANY hours of testing every operating system and every possible combination I can think of, and have a guy who is a very good gamer and has written code for microsoft and other big companies, he totally understands computers like myself and between the 2 of us it seems impossible to change settings of any kind to get me out of this .0014 thing. It really is just the hardware combination and a decent video card that makes the difference. Plus just so you know, if your a gamer you may know this. leave the cover off of your tower to keep the heat out, video cards get very hot even with onboard fans on the card. If they get hot, this is where you get your lag from. I bought a cooler for my laptop because after many hours of testing I found out why i was breaking out so much and it was because of the extreme heat in the video card and causing glitches in the game. Just some thoughts anyway!!! Would love to hear ideas from anyone who has done extreme testing and see what their take is on this. Also I forgot one thing, I did buy a Saitek Cyborg game pad that I had done testing with quite some time back and was able to get some .0000 lights on this laptop, was just looking through my notes in finishing this reply. So maybe I will try that again and see if I can repeat it. I know also all keyboards are different and play a big role in the ability to cut a perfect light. So many variables but if you get the right combo it is possible to kill the tree almost everytime.

View other posts by this member. | Posted - 6 February 2010 15:15 it's very easy to hit a perfect light in the pro stock with a mid grade computer, once upon a time I could hit perfect rt's and run dead on dial almost every single pass, the only thing that would stop me from doing it was tire spin, or missing a shift point, but a few months ago the game updated, and for some reason I am locked at a .0167 being my perfect reaction, and running a bracket race is totally out of the question. watch how slow the perfect reactors are staging,if they just dive in the beams, there should be no way to run consistant .0000 reactions, if they are setting the car in like they should,, perfect lights should happen almost every pass.

View other posts by this member. | Posted - 6 February 2010 19:17 Sure you guys wont like this.. but if its so easy to run 0000 reaction times then there is a problem. this is a game not real life. I dont think it would be fun anymore when everyone learns how to run perfect rt's every run.. when that happens ill for sure be done here. its a game and to run perfect everytime looses all the fun. just my opinion, sure the guys who run them will be mad and the guys who dont will appreciate my opinion. oh well. were looking into this now.

Agreed. I can run pretty close to perfect r/ts most runs, but that's from practice. I wouldn't argue with something being put into place that would make it harder to get perfect.

View other posts by this member. | Posted - 7 February 2010 23:50 Keep in mind, just because somebody doesn't have a 0000 RT doesn't mean they haven't cut a perfect light and hit their mark. They just have a computer that has the right hardward/drivers to allow it. For others when they hit their mark it can be .0014 or .0053. Since RT's go in steps of .01666666, you can tell who can get the perfect 0000 and who can't by their other RT's when they don't hit their mark. If somebody cuts an .021 RT, that means their perfect RT is a .005x. Yeah, it is a disadvantage..... the only fix using a different computer.
And yes, if you stage perfectly and are used to hitting the tree through practice or maybe more familiar with it because you race in real life, it is possible to hit your mark several times in a row if you concentrate. Is cheating possible? Of course! Have I thought others on here cheat or have cheated, yes. But still, it's possible to be really strong on the tree.

It hasnt occured to me it as being a problem and i have noticed that other users as JJFIVEOH and Wurtzracing1 have where they cant get under a certain r/t. But i hardly run at the test track to tune my cars all i set them is where i can launch them to get my best lights and where i am most comfortable... When i take time off from the game and usually when i come back i have to make new ratios cause i am not used to the tree anymore. I can get on tommarrow and race a bit and yall can check my r/t's and times out.. alot of the time they are .000x .016x - .017x or .03xx r/t's And yes if i think it is easy as this to cut .000x r/t's i think there is a need of a change.

I'm going to go car by car this weekend and set them up for good lights.....PRO TREE forget it...I'm worse than Warren Johnson!
