After staging, I have to hit the Z key twice to get into neutral. The extra step causes me to be late for the pro light at times. I don't have this problem in KOTT - works fine there, so I don't think it's my keyboard. Anyone else notice this?

The problem quit in test/tune but still have it in tourneys. I have to quit racing h2h because I don't have time to stage and the pro light comes on.

View other posts by this member. | Posted - 5 August 2010 0:13 I have noticed difficulty in shifting back into neutral or reverse. Almost like the first time you hit the key it doesn't register. I've also noticed that as soon as you stage (I use a mouse) and go to click on the gas pedal to bring the R's up, that doesn't register a lot of times too. I have to click on the gas pedal a second time to get it to register. If I take my time it usually works, but we all know there isn't much time. Does that make any sense?

Care to know?

Have you noticed that while in an offline challenge (tournament, speed, team run, etc) that when you stage, the helmet disappears from the left hand corner of the screen, as well as the minimize, close, and maximize buttons from the top right? That's why it doesn't always down shift/throttle up immediately.
Easy remedy to that problem... When you are staging and enter the final stage and stop, after the jump occurs and all of the icons disappear, back out and re-stage. Everything works smooth after that.
